11 Students of SAU Earn First Class Degrees

The Vice-Chancellor of Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa, Edo State, Prof. Bernard Aigbokhan, has expressed much confidence that graduates of the institution can make meaningful contributions to the development of Nigeria.
Prof. Bernard made this known during the University's third convocation ceremony
The total number of their graduates were about at 90 in which 11 were awarded first class degrees, 65 students received the second class degrees and 13 were referred by the management of the university.

Prof. Bernard  said that the institution, which is owned by the Apostolic Church, Nigeria, had taken advantage of its young existence and its small population to provide qualitative and uninterrupted education.“Perhaps, our greatest accomplishment as of today is that after six years of uninterrupted and crisis-free academic calendar, we are releasing our third set of graduates into the larger society.  Although they are very few, like the small mustard seed, we are confident that they shall blossom.“We are proud to say that they have been taken through the drill, taking advantage of the economics of small size, and our external examiners who are all acclaimed academics have validated the quality of their performance,” he said.

He also praised the management of the University and the church for their continued support and he also claimed that the institution is open to financial collaborations and supports.
