A close friend witnessed this happen just one hour ago. It happened here in Oye-Ekiti, along the Ifaki to Ikole road. Just a few metres from the Federal University Oye Ekiti Mini Campus junction.
According to the people in the bus, the driver was flagged down by cops at Ayegbaju and asked to pay anything, even if just #50. He didn't comply and sped off. So they chased him until they caught up with him and shot him in the head. He lost control and the vehicle turned over. The man died just moments after. The Police allegedly turned around and took off immediately after the shot. The man is dead. A couple other people in the bus seriously injured due to the accident have been rushed to a nearby hospital.

This really proves how worthless life is to the Police. And the ENDSARS Campaign is still trending somehow. I don't know why I am posting this. I just feel this could be anyone. Anyone's friend. Anyone's relative.
No matter this man's behavior or whether he's guilty or not, he matters to someone. To a set of people. A provider for a family. Someone's number one person.
I just don't know.
