As students our needs most times are indefinite but we know the important ones and if we think carefully we would be able to list the important ones.
Important needs are most those things lacked in the previous semester, groceries, Note Books, Text Books, Clothes, Electronic gadgets, Shoes, et cetera.
3. List All Your Needs.
The things that should be at the top of the list should be the things you need the most, just like in a scale of preference.
The preferred needs should be those you lacked in the previous semester, those that are required for the semester and not those you want.
Things that should be on your list can be foodstuffs, note or text books, clothes, bags, shoes, et cetera.
Most students don't like the idea of listing but this helps in not leaving anything behind.
You know your needs so think well while listing.
If you are prone to ailments, make sure you don't forget your drugs.

5. Set Your Goals.
Goals are important to everyone most especially students as it would serve as a guide and source of motivation throughout the semester. Your goals must be S. M.A.R.T
(Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time Bound)
Specific; they should be well defined, Measurable; they should include the cost that follows them (cost might not be totally money but also in time).
Attainable; don't set goals that you can't achieve, if you set impossible goals you would do yourself the favor of demoralizing yourself.
Relevant; Your goals should be those that would help your career development.
Time Bound; Your goals should be achievable in at particular time, that would be the deadline.

Write down your goals, you have no excuse for forgetting about it. As you write, use the word "will" instead of "would like to" or "might." For example, "I will make a First Class this semester " not "I would like to make a First Class this semester."
The first goal statement has power and you can "see" yourself reducing expenses, the second lacks passion and gives you an excuse if you get sidetracked.
6. Re-manage Your Time.
If you had a poor time management in the previous semester, you should be prepared to work on your schedule again. Cut-off all activities that are damaging to your campus life and pick up new ones if necessary.
