FUOYE PROTEST UPDATE: Has The VC Fulfilled His Promises?

Recall that the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Professor Kayode Soremekun promised students of his institution that on Friday 10th of August 2018, the university's Oye campus main road would be fixed and examination results would be available to students.

The main question now is, Has the road been fixed? and Can Students see their results now?

-Has The Road Been Fixed?

I visited the university's Oye main campus main road today and upon my entry I was puzzled by the state of the road because it's like nothing has happened since my last post.

The Phase 1 road is the same as before and there seems to be more dust than ever along the main road.

The good news is that works are still in process on the road the repair is evident at the Phase 2, as contractors were working on that part of the road.

The front of the Admin building has been fully repaired.

So I can tell you for sure that the road is being repaired.

Can Students See Their Results Now?

This is one part of the promise that is under high probability, because no results has been released upon the publication of this post.

So the answer is No, results has not been released.

The most important question that is on every bodies mind is When are Students resuming?

The Vice-Chancellor or the Students Union Government leaders are yet to release any publication but it's highly unlikely that Academic activities would resume on Monday, 13th of August.

But Campus Trends would keep you posted by giving updates.
