One Dead, One Missing, Others Injured Following UNIJOS Attack

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) Suffered a Tragic event on Sunday, 30th September, which reportedly took a student's life and left others injured.

It was making rounds on the internet that the school campus was invaded by some alleged Hausa youths, the students reportedly raised alarms and tried to defend themselves with various weapons. As reported on social media, some security agents came into the scene and started shooting, the students claimed some security agents were shooting towards them instead of defending them.

Following the incidence, A 300l Law student, identified as Shedrach Kums, who reportedly alerted the hostel community as to the state of affairs of things was shot and bled to death. It was gathered that prior the day of his death he wrote on Facebook; "IF I DIE IN THE STRUGGLE THEN SO BE IT"

It was also confirmed that a student is missing while others were left injured after the event.
