There was commotion at
the Federal Polytechnic, Oko Anambra state last night following an alleged fire
outbreak within the school premises. The incident occurred while the students
were asleep.
The cause of the fire
is sill unknown, however, the students have been said to be the no 1 suspects.
It was reported that the institution changed their exam mode from CBT to pen
and paper, which didn't go down well with the students
.
The said exam mode
kicked off yesterday morning, while the fire incident occurred during the
night, the Exam and Records building which was close to the female hotel was
also on fire which caused a stampeded within the students. A truck was
reportedly set ablaze as well as some other buildings.
Meanwhile, the
examinations have been put on hold following the incident.
