Police investigating the 2kay's robbery attack in October have reportedly arrested two students of the University of Lagos alongside popular musician Burna Boy's manager, Joel Kantiok.

The
students were identified as Balogun Ademola, 23, Obinna Igwe, 20, and an
artisan, Omotore Tunmise. They attacked the singer in his hotel
room in October.
Speaking
on Channels TV program, Sunrise Daily, The Lagos Commissioner of Police ,
Imohimi Edgal said the suspects confessed that Burna Boy contracted them
to teach Mr 2Kay a lesson.
He also said
that the four suspects attacked Mr. 2kay in his hotel room at Eko Hotel,
tied him up, tied his girlfriend in the toilet and made away with his
personal effect worth N10 million.
''When
they were interrogated, they said it was Burna Boy contracted them and
not only to rob the victim but also to teach him a lesson. So it is more
or less a hate crime in style of gangsterism''
