Federal University Oye-Ekiti has elected a new Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Administration.
Professor Abayomi Fasina of the Faculty of Agriculture
was elected Deputy Vice Chancellor to be in charge of Administration.
This wassequel to the decision of the University Senate in its last sitting held on Wednesday November 15, 2017.

As
Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration Professor Fasina is also expected
to take charge of the administration and academic Leadership of the
Institution’s second campus at Ikole on behalf of the Vice Chancellor.
He has since assumed duties.
Mean
time the University management has expressed its profound appreciation
to Professor Raphael Ajayi Omolehin whose tenure as Deputy Vice
Chancellor elapsed on November 25th, 2017.
In
a statement signed by the Ag. Registrar, Mrs Oyeyimika Kayeyo Fasakin
dated 27, Nov. 2017, the University has immensely benefited from the
wealth of experience of Professor Omolehin which have transformed into
several milestones in the institution during the period he served as
Deputy Vice Chancellor.
