FUOYE PROTEST UPDATE: Management And Students Representatives Finally Comes To An Agreement

The management of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti and the Institution's Students representatives had a mutual agreement in a meeting held today Monday, 6th of August.

The University management, headed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Kayode Soremekun  assured the representatives present that the major road would fixed and results would be available to students latest by Friday, 10th of August.

He assured them that the Wi-Fi connection would be ready before the end of this month, as they are in talks with Globacom Nigeria. The  Students representatives assured the Vice Chancellor that they would resume on Monday 13th of August, if the school fulfills its promises.

To make an Effective Move towards this,  An 8 Men 'Monitoring  Committee  was set up to monitor every of the efforts and its completion within the week. The committee members which includes the Dean of Students affairs and other Students Representative from both Campuses will report the situation  of things has it evolves.

The Students  Representatives present were FUOYESU Executives, SRC principal Officers, The Faculty Presidents, Departmental Presidents.
Hence, Students should be aware that there shall no be  Academic  Activities in school (this week) valid the time  that all the students needs are met.
