What is the full form of “e.g.”?

Are you one of those set of people that uses e.g in sentences without actually knowing the full form, don't worry I was one until like 15 minutes before I wrote this post.

literately it translates “for example” in sentences. It was derived from la atin expression 'exempli gratia'.
