FUOYE 2018 SUG ELECTIONS: What Should We Be Expecting?

The moods of Students in both campuses of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti have been a little bit ecstatic as aspirants of different post in the forthcoming Students Union Government Elections are finding all possible means to get the attention of students, to convince them that they are the right person to be voted for.

As the election day draws closer most people are majorly concerned about the Presidential, Vice-Presidential and General Secretary seats.

But I would place my major concern on the Presidential seat.

Before I proceed,

My Take On The 2017/2018 Student Union Executives.

This set of people led by Comrade Fashakin Taiwo when elected seem were like the Messiah for students because of the problems in which students were facing.

They started well but seemed relaxed at a point in their tenure as Students preferred to stage their own protest rather than using the SUG to fight.

One of the things that they are good at is hosting parties, as different celebrities were invited for different events.

But they did all they could.

Now back to the main topic,

The Presidential Seat.

As this seat is opened to students in Oye Campus, Students like Awodola Oluwaseun (P.K.A Unique), Ojo Isaac Sanmi (P.K.A Ijoba Demo) and Aborishade Olawale Sunday.

My Take On The Aspirants

Awodola Oluwaseun Samuel

I know him to be cool and serious minded person, he is very approachable and very available. I have known him for a while now, he is one of the students that even when he didn't have any official seat in any students governing body he still fights, making sure his voice is heard.

He holds  tutorials for Students even when he was in his first year, he is very credible and has a good relationship with students

Ojo Isaac Sanmi

Ijoba Demo to me, he and Unique share some characters.

He is available, approachable, knows how to carry people along. Although many people claim that because he is an Indigene of Oye then he can't perform well but he used that claim to prove that he is a very worthy candidate through one his campaign post.

He is popular among Indigenes to the extent that I was lectured today on what he can do by an Indigene.

Lastly,

Aborishade Olawale Sunday.

Honestly, I don't know much about this guy other than he is a 300 level student, so I would let the audience tell us about this guy in the comments section.

Who is my most preferred?

For the sake of making this post a fair one, I won't declare who I think is best but I can assure you that they are all credible for the position.

You can tell us who you think is best, by dropping your choice in the comments box.
