'Selfishness And Mismanagement' In FUOYE-

I received this post from a Fresh student from FUOYE, the writer chose to be anonymous and wrote from his/her heart.

Here's what I received,

'Now, we fresher who have not paid in full and have not paid at all are in a state of *confusion*

This is the first *FEDERAL university* that the fresher are told to pay *over #100,000* without paying in installment.

We paid medical fee twice and paid N8000 for matriculation, but *what did we get for that? A 24-hours gown which was not even given to some student because of unpaid SCHOOL FEES*.

We came to this school due to the fact that it was new and we hoped will have some advantages, but NO we actually came here ( *FUOYE* ) to suffer......................

#. The roads are nothing to write home about even if it was one of the reason we had a riot during the month of March..

#. The school fees was not reduced and was not also allowed to be paid in installment, even though we protested for during that same riot.

#. No conducive lecture halls (imagine over 3000 students are told to have their lectures in a 500 seater lecture hall).

Is this possible in a developed nation? We students seats on the floor, stand for a 2-hours lecture, while some will even sit on podium where lecturers stand to lecture. Yet some lecturers who don't have pity send student away from sitting,  then some student will have no choice but to go outside without attending the lecture or even listening to what the lecturer is teaching....

*THIS IS UNFAIR..* it is against *humanity*.

So we ask where is the *N102,000* going to? Or is it that the federal government does not give allocation for this?

My fellow student..this is what is called *MISMANAGEMENT*.

We dont have a good management at all.. *Soremekun's* *administration* is stressful and has no consideration for the students.  All he is after is the money he wants to *embezzle*.

It is my hope that the *Federal Government* can actually see into the matter of this university.

*From a concerned* *fresh* *student*
